LogMeIn
Log Me In is a service The Tech Doctor uses to provide remote support and remote access to offsite systems.
This system enables us to see what is happening on your screen and take control of the system in order to fix technical problems and provide user training.
To have LogMeIn on your computer, click through the following link and download and install the software.
Give your computer a name that we can understand (usually Lastname, Firstname or Name of Business – User Name)
if the installer asks you for a computer access code, it is asking you to create a password that we will need to access the computer. If you are stuck, just use ‘techdoctor’
Once the software is installed, and you computer is connected to the internet, give us a call and we will arrange for a technician to log in and have a look at your issue.
LogMeIn Pro2
LogMeIn Pro2 is the same great remote access with the following extras:
- Access to your own systems: Remote control your office machine from Home, or Vice Vera
- Alerts: the software will keep tabs on your system and let us know if there is a fault developing, windows updates are out of date or you are running out of disk space
- Remote Sound: hear what is happening on the remote computer through your own speakers
- Remote printing: Print from the remote system to your own Printer
